The last couple of months, we’ve been working extra hard for you guys to make sure that we’re constantly delivering an awesome service that brings you value in your job searching process!
First of all, for those who are new to Jobylon. What do we do? Well, Jobylon is a social career site which seamlessly combines everything you need when you’re searching for a job and looking for the next step in your career. Imagine a place where you would find thousands of vacant positions, relevant information about employers, integrations with your social networks and even more. That is Jobylon! Currently, the service is available in Sweden and Norway.
I briefly wanted to tell you about the new features and other great stuff that you now can experience when using Jobylon.
First of all (hard to miss) you’ll see that we have a brand new landing page. It’s focused, it’s clear and it’s beautiful. While you’re looking at it, feel free to scroll through the images : ) The landing page focus on one clear action, to log in. Obviously, a social career site can not (and should not) function properly without logging in with your social network, so please do so.
When logged in, you will land on your own custom dashboard, populated with content that will ease and simplify your job hunting process. Initially, you’re presented with a number of matched jobs, awesome huh? :) We take a look at your social profiles and instantly search through thousands of jobs that might be interesting for you and present the best ones. If you haven’t already done so, make sure to have an updated Linkedin and Facebook profile to get the most relevant job matches.
Still at this page, you can see all of your saved jobs, search agents you’ve created, the companies you follow and all the recent news from them.
Another major new feature we’ve introduced is the Friend Search. Besides searching for jobs and/or companies, you can now also search based on your friends. Through Jobylon, you can easily reach out to your network, ask questions, set up a lunch or coffee, basically anything that can give you a more clear picture of the employer you’re interested in!
So this was only some of the new features and you’ll also notice that the whole site has gone through a massive re-design!
We can promise you one thing, this is only the beginning! There are a bunch of awesome and great stuff in the pipe : )
